What's New?

Join us at the upcoming February 17 workshop on "ENHANCING DIVERSITY WITH INSECTARY HEDGEROWS TO IMPROVE SUSTAINABILITY".

The NCRC&DC has issued its Winter 2010 Newsletter, which can be found on the Downloads page.

Visit us at our booth at the 2011 EarthDay with Noyo Food Forest at the Fort Bragg High School, Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, May 7, 2011, from noon to 6:00 p.m.  See the rainwater collection system at the site and the raingarden.  The Council purchased the storage tank for the project, and assisted in project development.

See the new listing of useful references on rainwater harvesting--just click here.

The NCRC&DC is supporting continued on-the-ground demonstration projects for generating a useful project during fire fuel biomass reduction, such as development of a marketable charcoal product for barbecues and incorporation of charcoal as a soil amendment in agricultural lands.

The Council has approved a final report on the Parlin Fork Biomass study, and this report is now available to download on our Downloads page.
